Miah creator of Natural Beauty recently sent me Anya saying that she wanted to create a sweet soft skin and I really loved how it turned out, i’m wearing it in both looks today and just thank you so much! I’ve never worn Natural Beauty skins before but this really peaked my interest and I’ll be demoing more of her skins in the future there’s a soft angelic quality to this skin that I really love. I know that’s pretty ironic since my looks aren’t super angelic whatsoever — gun and all…
Rico on the other hand contacted me about eye suggestions hoping to create some brand new eyes for his store Aphotic Gloom. He created a lovely rendition of an idea I had and will be selling these in Chic Fashionably Late and in his store as well. The eyes turned out exactly what I envisioned, having a muted light grey and then flecks of multiple tons in the middle which gives it so much dimension. I’ve turned this into my default eyes for my RP Character over at H:YS. I initially found out about Aphotic Gloom from Gogo’s blog and I’ve been using his eyes regularly in my blog posts now. So if you guys are looking for high quality gorgeous eyes, please take a look at his wares! (I’m wearing his eyes from this set in both looks, but the Anya one is used in the 2nd look)
Some of the items in both looks come from items within the Seasons Hunt, they’re truly really awesome, so remember to check it out before the hunt ends!
Oh hi folks! So yet another challenge post for the Alphabet Challenge, I was so tempted to do F is for Fever to really express the pain i’m going through but decided against it heh. Instead, F this time around shall stand for Fall! With the final Seasons Hunt on its way today, we are all feeling the Fall/Autumn spirit. I hope you guys have fun with the hunt, although none of the items in this look correlates to the hunt whatsoever, the mood definitely carried over for the styling.
Have you guys been to Lula lately? If not, you do need to take a trip down to Tres Blah to check out their new releases. One release in particular that I really like are their Juju jeans which come in a variety of washes and also 3 different pants options, flared, straight and rolled up. Denim staples are as important in sl as they are in real life and these are one pair that’s super classic and will last a long time. I decided to mix and match 2 different looks using Tres Blah’s items and hopefully it’ll entice you to check the releases out!
Today will be Day 4 of the Modavia Fashion Week 2011 — I was planning to post looks from designers of each day of the show but unfortunately I might be missing some days so I have to skip and go in a rather weird order. But i’ll try to feature some pieces from my favorite shows at least. For this post, I mainly feature item from the designers on Day 2, which I thought was a day catered mostly for mens. Menswear in SL has clearly evolved a ton from my time in SL. I was glad to see a whole lot more color in menswear nowadays, last time I seem to only find suits, blacks, whites and greys… can get pretty depressing at times.
My favorite pieces from Day 2 has to be items from FIR & MNA‘s casual but trend setting collection and also Sartoria who dabbled with some really awesome patterns in the coats and jackets they made. Both also feature amazing shoes, but Sartoria shoes can’t seem to resize properly, so I had to forgo another pair which I actually loved a lot. The looks are a lot more casual and street wear friendly, but I love the masculine edge male items tend to give females in SL.
