‘…Take time to realize,
That your warmth is
Crashing down on in.
Take time to realize,
That I am on your side
Didn’t I, Didn’t I tell you…’
~ Colbie Caillat

You know when this time of year rolls into sl, it really is a blast cause there’s so many awesome sculpted greatness to sport. I’ve been collecting a few of these pieces lately and decided to put out some looks with them. Winter/Fall trends ftw~

I’m so glad 50 Lindens Black Friday rolled about and epoque released these awesome sculpted beanies! I loooveee beanies in rl and a good one in sl makes me happy! Epoque’s Baggy Knit Hat is shown all throughout the looks showing you guys how easily it sits above hair and the awesome color choices that you can pick from. Unfortunately it was only for 50L fridays ~ so I really hoped you guys dropped by to pick it up!

Oh patterns patterns, how I love thee so~ When chocolate Arashi from couverture dropped me a pack of her new items together with the news of her main store moving, I can’t help but think up of a look for this great dress. This dress is a bunch of frilly goodness and comes in several awesome colors. The belt is also part of the dress and really look at that belt! I’d get that dress just cause the belt is super awesome and versatile! I layered it over Modd G’s Origami Ruffled Tank, which is awesome by itself, but to be able to layer it under clothing, still retaining it’s awesome-ness shows what a lovely piece this is to have. Then I wore DUBOO’s Poptart leggings which are part of the Starlust Thrash Hunt items. Do drop by DUBOO at starlust to find some of her thrash and pick up 5 awesome leggings that are just unique only to Newreem’s goodness!

Another key piece to this look has got to be this awesome jacket from DADA. I’ve always wanted to feature DADA’s pieces but have never gotten a chance to. Fargo makes some really unique items for the grid and her great clothes are just super refreshing to look at. This long coat is a mix of sculpties and flexis, which means it really does move extremely well with AOs and that can be hard to do for jackets in sl.

The second look Features KiiToS amazing Long Knit Gown. I’m glad to be featuring yet another KiiToS piece and to see Trish Blanco create more and more unisex jackets. This really is one jacket to add to your inventory no matter how big it’s getting ~ the sculpts are very well done, and it’s so versatile with it’s variety of colors.
I layered Elate’s Celeste with Mr.Poet’s loose shirt to create the inner parts of this outfit. It’s neutral enough to pair with another awesome thrash hunt gift from Newreem Waffle. Look at ze patterns! There’s really no reason why you shouldn’t brace the lag in Starlust to get these.

Oh oh!! I wanted to add, big thank you’s to Uma for showing me this store called Mustache. Mustache carries several adorable hair styles, and I’ve been wearing them so much ~ great creative unique styles that looks like no other! The price is really good too, although I wish they sold them in color packs more than individual… sometimes it’s just hard to select a specific color tone in hair.

Finally some Madsy goodness! Yay! Madsy has got to be one of my favorite stores, I’m like a kid in a candy shop there, every time there’s a new release, it’s just hand drawn goodness to the max. I layered Madsy’s Fur Gilet over fishy*strawberry’s long cardigan which really can be worn in a myriad of ways. There’ different body sculpts to add or take off to create different versions of this jacket. My looks don’t do it justice, but Barcode’s new patterned scoopneck are really snugly pieces of thermal tops that one can cosy up in all season long. This tops come in orange, teal and minty with little dots on em for pattern.

To tie this look in with different patterns, I decided to use Beggars Banquet’s baggy shorts in an awesome plaid pattern. Beggar’s Banquet is really a bargain store you need to check out, they pride themselves in used clothing and vintage wear *giggles* and even have a Bob Dylan hair out for guys. It’s a really adorable store selling random assortments of clothes and hair for mere 50L. So it’s like a forever 50L friday really… If you enjoy vintage clothing (both male and female) you really gotta drop by!
