Been a while since I touched blogging, lets see if I remember any of it at all. I’m more likely to do this more sporadically than ever, covering just events or what not. Mostly I wanted to spend some time doing some looks for the EPOCH Legend event which has been a great great success thus far! Thank you to Linden Lab for putting us in editor’s picks over at the destination guide! That really made me and sue’s day – plus of course all the organizers are just /thrilled/
Remember EPOCH Legend goes all the way till March 11th so there’s still time to check out the amazing venues and themes, plus the wonderful items from designers. I’m following what I usually do on flickr and keep the credits to a minimum of what I wish to feature. Everything else, feel free to ask in the comments or on flickr. I will reply to them asap!
My first look features a rather edited version of one of my favorite items from Escher – Nylon Outfitter’s Air and Water dress, I cut off the system skirt area to make this more of a top instead. The picture obviously doesn’t quite show its artistry as well as I would like but do hop on by and take a look at her vendor! It’s a really cute dress with Nylon’s usual amazing illustration inspired by Escher. The tights and bag both are from the event as well coming from ISON and Maitreya.
The second look is wearing Willow’s Picard Dress – Tessellations. I’m not sure if you guys have hopped on by the café to see Weezey’s picture up in the gallery. You simply must, it’s by far the prettiest creator picture I’ve seen, she looks stunning. The dress itself is cute too, with a short flare at the bottom, I wore it as a top matching it with a piece from outside of the event. Maitreya’s MCEHT Leggings is absolutely lovely! If you wore it just the way it is, you can really see the realistic highlights and shading that gives your booty quite the tooch.
And finally the last look shows 2byte’s Art of Escher denim shirt which is great for both guys and girls. I love the casual pieces for this event partly because they’re a lot more classic and wearable for the future. I layered Vita’s Boudoir skirt over Epoque’s to show it’s sheerness that is great for layering purposes.
I hope these looks show a way to transition the items from EPOCH over to usual daily SL, they’re truly a work of art from each and every participant <3 Yummy too has an amazing Escher ring that I failed to take a picture of properly, it’s one of the best accessories coming from Polyester <3
