Did you guys hear? The first round of 52 Color Week Challenge is finally over, congrats to those who made it to the finishing line for all 52 weeks! But yes, my sentence said first… because the great thing is, Luna will be hosting a 2nd round of the challenge on Jan 1st, 2012! What an amazing way to start off the new year. I’m still not quite sure if I’ll be doing this round and complete it before attempting the 2nd, or just juggling both at one shot. So we’ll see what the new year brings! Anywho, here’s my attempt for Week 9′s Silver — the color of shiny metal.
Hope you guys like this and sorry for the slight MIA from the blogging world, I’ve been doing bait of RPing over at H:YS and it’s been quite a journey meeting new friends within SL and strengthening old ones that probably never would have happened without the role play. So if anyone of you are still interested, there’s always room to spare over there.
I’m in such awe at you guys who have been doing Luna Jubilee’s Color Challenge from the start and are reaching the finishing end next week. Phew! That’s a long long journey and here I am still at Week 7. Applauding you guys who are now just doing a final sprint to the end.
I must admit Cerise was an unexpected surprise of a color to me, I truly had to scour my inventory for any color close to it cause I don’t own many of them. I ended up with a look that’s slightly more reddish Cerise than the Crayola version of it which is slightly Magenta. I do like it though, unexpected is always a good thing and since it’s called a challenge, gotta embrace the new!
Hi hi! I’ve been having a high fever lately so I had to take some time off blogging, coupled with exams coming up, been craazzeeee… But I decided to set aside some time to finish off challenges. First off the 52 Weeks of Color Challenge in which i’m approaching week 6 whoo! This was also the last week I did it before I stopped the previous time I attempted this challenge. So glad I at least made it to this marking point heh.
I love the color yellow, it’s always been one of my favorite colors cause of it’s happy hues. So I hope you guys like this look, I wanted it to look like a traveling musician, hippy like and carefree with tons of stories to tell!
52 Weeks of Color yet again, this time the color for week 5 was Sepia. Every time I think of Sepia, I think of those olden day antique photos and I tried to follow that type of brown to do this weeks challenge. I love this huge crazy hat from Saikin and so glad I got to use it for this look!
I remember the first time around when I did the color Plum, I was very hesitant about it. I’m not super fond of purples, but doing this color during the fall season helps a lot especially since designers are releasing so many richly deep colored things to keep in tune with the colder months. This time around, I was definitely a lot more willing to ease into the color.
The color posted on Luna’s blog is a lighter shade of plum, I decided to go with a deep plum which you usually find on the fruit itself. This time around, I also added other colors into the look to ease out the monochromatic palette~
