52 Weeks of Color Week Nine : Silver

Did you guys hear? The first round of 52 Color Week Challenge is finally over, congrats to those who made it to the finishing line for all 52 weeks! But yes, my sentence said first… because the great thing is, Luna will be hosting a 2nd round of the challenge on Jan 1st, 2012! What an amazing way to start off the new year. I’m still not quite sure if I’ll be doing this round and complete it before attempting the 2nd, or just juggling both at one shot. So we’ll see what the new year brings! Anywho, here’s my attempt for Week 9′s Silver — the color of shiny metal.

Hope you guys like this and sorry for the slight MIA from the blogging world, I’ve been doing bait of RPing over at H:YS and it’s been quite a journey meeting new friends within SL and strengthening old ones that probably never would have happened without the role play. So if anyone of you are still interested, there’s always room to spare over there.

Simply Falling...

Simply Falling…

October 28, 2011 |  by  |  anya ohmai, lookbook

Sometimes I have on a look in SL that I utterly love but I feel rather miffy about putting it on a blog because I feel perhaps it’s not complicated enough or not “mixed” enough. Then I have to give myself a mental slap and just go ahead and post it. These 3 looks today was somewhat a little bit of that. I wanted to showcase brand new items from Mon Tissu and Vive9 but I felt like no matter how I styled it, it looked better just simple and clean.

So I hope you guys would like this and not mind the simpleness!

Alphabet Challenge : G

Alphabet Challenge : G

October 26, 2011 |  by  |  Alphabet Challenge, anya ohmai, lookbook

I wanted to incorporated a little bit of HP love into my attempt on the Alphabet Challenge so I’ll be taking G, H, R and S for the four houses to do so. Gryffindor will start off with the letter G! I won’t be doing full on HP uniforms and such for these looks but more so a series of randomness and a few wizarding magic thrown in there. Hope this resonates with HP fans out there!

I never knew how challenging this challenge would be, it’s the letter G now and I’m slightly slow in terms of doing this on a weekly basis. Luckily the rules are fairly flexible so I can do as much or as little till I finish to the finishing letter Z. I would love to use the opportunity to show off some furniture items I have using this challenge too, so I’ll try to do that more often from now onwards.

52 Weeks of Color Week Eight: Green

52 Weeks of Color Week Eight: Green

I’ve been starting my 52 Weeks of Color Challenge late in the week recently cause it’s been crazy busy. But I decided to do it earlier on for week eight seeing I’m rather inspired today! I love when the colors are a little broader in terms of hues we can use, Green for example is extremely general. Thus, I tried to mix different hues of green to make it more pleasing for the eye.

Hope you guys like this cozy fall gear. Oh! My Jacket comes from NoaR who recently reopened their store in the SLOW sim. Not all their old items are back up, but there are some new gear and adorable matching socks as group gift. So hop on over and check that out. Take care guys <3

52 Weeks of Color Week Seven: Cerise

52 Weeks of Color Week Seven: Cerise

I’m in such awe at you guys who have been doing Luna Jubilee’s Color Challenge from the start and are reaching the finishing end next week. Phew! That’s a long long journey and here I am still at Week 7. Applauding you guys who are now just doing a final sprint to the end.

I must admit Cerise was an unexpected surprise of a color to me, I truly had to scour my inventory for any color close to it cause I don’t own many of them. I ended up with a look that’s slightly more reddish Cerise than the Crayola version of it which is slightly Magenta. I do like it though, unexpected is always a good thing and since it’s called a challenge, gotta embrace the new!
